Back for a second year! The June 8 Prairie Burn is once again offering a 5K fun run taking off at 10:00am. The run will also have a timing option but we are still considering it a fun run! The route takes participants throughout the Grinnell community to return for our beer garden, live music, and food trucks. At a low registration fee of $10, we hope you will sign up and join us for an awesome outdoor day of activities!

JOIN THE BURNER MOVEMENT

We are Burners. We started the Prairie Burn 100 gravel bike ride in 2019 as a fundraiser for Imagine Grinnell, a non-profit organization supporting a healthy and sustainable Grinnell community.

Following Imagine Grinnell's mission, we invite you to join us year-round to experience the gravel cycling scene. From novices to pros, we aim to help everyone get on a bike, breathing fresh air and safely enjoying Iowa's 73,000 miles of unpaved crushed stone rural roads.

Sign up for our email list by joining the movement below. And be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for beginners' clinics, event updates and weekly rides resuming in Spring 2022.

ABOUT

IS THE PRAIRIE BURN 100

A COMPETITIVE RACE?

It is chip-timed with competitive options, but riders and runners can get out of it what they desire. This event is about having a good time, making connections and promoting all the good that comes from cycling. Proceeds from the main event will go to Imagine Grinnell, a non-profit organization that makes the world a better place (or at least towns named Grinnell).
